About

Hi, there. I'm Rebekah Joan. This blog is about encouraging + inspiring you through the beauty in the everyday and extraordinary world around you. Follow along for a life infused with beauty!
I'm fresh out of high school with dreams of being a photographer + a freelance writer and, eventually, a published author. My home is the small but beautiful Erie, Pennsylvania.
For my whole life, I've been homeschooled along with my two sisters. Because of that, I've grown so close to God, and he's taught me the beauty of life, even in the hard times. Somewhere, even when your hands are shaking and the tears are falling, there's always beauty waiting for you—even if it's in the future.
So I spend my days creating what beauty I can and discovering what others have already made. It's quite a wonderful way to live.
Feel free to join me!

  2. I too, want to be a writer and a photographer! I can tell just by reading this page that you are a very good writer.

Have you ever read any books by H. Rider Haggard? If not, you should try him. My favorite books by him were Pearl Maiden and Queen Sheba's Ring.

Thanks for commenting on the Story Blog!

  7. *Gasp* You read Ally Carter too?? She puts spies in perspective. Love it. And three girls in the house must be interesting. I know living with three sisters, me, and our mother (not to mention a boatload of pets...;)) certainly drove our dad crazy! I'm definitely going to have to keep an eye on this blog... :)

    1. Yes- I love Ally Carter's works, and I can't wait for Embassy Row to come out! Three girls is very difficult, but we've had good times, and I can't imagine a life without either of my sisters. And please-feel free to keep your eye on it! I don't mind. ;)
