Make your arms
My arms
So I can carry
Those who need
Your gentle hands
To your House of Healing.
Make your heart
My heart
So I can give
Little pieces
Of it to everyone
I meet.
Make your light
My light
So I can shine
On the path you've
Given us to explore
With you as our goal.
And maybe give me
Some of your peace
So I don't
Fall to pieces,
But can instead
Rest in your embrace.
Rebekah
p.s. it's been so friggin long since i've posted that i forgot how i signed these things. sorry 'bout that.
Wow..that is awesome! Sorry to be so bold.. but practically swearing at the end of this post makes it hard for me to enjoy your poem though.. I felt God asking me to tell you that..and gosh, it was hard. I am praying for you, Rebekah. <3

Thanks! Haha, sorry! I typically try to keep my blog swear-free (or at least warn people of swears), but sometimes I "slip up" because I view swear words just the same as any other word. But I get that not everyone likes them, so I try to respect that.

DeleteThanks for taking my bold words so well. :) I must admit, that I too use not very good words in my daily life. (like stupid..dumb..etc) which I can see as "swear" words in some peoples minds. Thank you for awakening me to that! Have a blessed night!
DeleteHaha, no problem. :) But that's the thing-they aren't "not very good" words. They're amoral. Using them and treating them as normal words isn't wrong. Hehe, you're welcome! :)
Deletethis. this is so good. thank you for sharing your writing. ^_^
